Three parameters drive most slurry pump selection decisions: maximum solids size, solids concentration by weight, and pH of the medium.
For coarse material with particles up to 84 mm, a gravel pump in the G series is usually the right choice. For finer tailings and mill discharge, ZJ series slurry pumps offer better efficiency. Highly acidic or alkaline duties call for rubber-lined or stainless steel construction.
